Frost Bites 2016: Katinka
On a house boat in the industrial southern part of the Copenhagen harbour Malte and a group of roommates invited a small group of strangers inside their charming boathouse for an intimate evening with the danish band Katinka.
It was a cold and windy night in Copenhagen and there was not much lighting in the secluded part of the harbour except for the houseboat, which was lit up in the traditional Frost Festival way for this special event.
As we got close to the event we began seeing little bits of light move in the distance. It was the audience arriving on bicycles, each with a little gift for the generous houseboat residents.
Katinka played an intimate and charming set and the audiences got close to both eachother and the musicians.
